| Job Title: ANUM Medical Day Unit/Discharge Lounge |
| Description |
| The Medical Day Unit/Discharge Lounge is a Monday to Friday service and supports the care of short stay medical patients and the timely discharge of patients form the acute wards.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Division 1 Registered Nurse to provide leadership as the ANUM in the Medical Day Unit / Discharge Lounge, providing quality nursing care to patients awaiting discharge or procedures as a medical day stay patient.
Applicants are required to have current registration with the NBV as Division 1 Registered Nurse and minimum 3 year experience post graduation. The successful applicant should have extensive medical clinical experience and previous management skills or a desire to develop management skills. This position requires a self motivated person with high level communication, organisational, time management and intermediate computer literacy skills.
