Looking for a new career down under? Our client is looking for a registered nurse with a Bachelor of App. Sci. (Physiotherapy) or equivalent to work in Sydney, Australia.
This successful candidate must have:
•Relevant clinical experience (spinal cord injury, neurology or disability)
•Strong organisational skills and time management skills
•Ability to establish rapport with the rehabilitation clients
•Demonstrated client monitoring and feedback mechanisms
•Ability to work effectively in a team or individually
Duties and responsibilities will include:
•Participate in a coordinated approach to total patient management by liaising with patients and other team members
•Provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention including functional training, wheelchair prescription, aquatic physiotherapy, spasticity management and strength and conditioning training
•Participate in home visits, outings and other activities
•Comply with Health and Spinal Cord Service clinical policies and guidelines
•Liaise appropriately with patient’s family, care givers and/or relevant others to optimize patient outcomes
